In the beginning of March, Luv of Dogz Fund responded to an emergency situation in West Phoenix where a mama dog was chained up outside in the elements and had nine pups she was trying to care for but could not get to. Within the same day of the plea, volunteers responses and got mama dog and all nine pups to safety.
Luv of Dogz took in the mama dog and two medically-needy babies. A partner rescue took the other pups. All are being given tender loving care and treatment for their medical conditions. The pups had some tummy issues and one needs emergency hernia surgery .We are helping with shots for all and we will be spaying the mama and pups in our care when they are ready. Mama (Darby) was emanciated so we are waiting for her to gain more weight.
